As an essayist + producer, my essay, βAnother Year Older and Deeper in Debt,β was anthologized in the latest edition of Without a Net: The Female Experience of Growing Up Working Class + my audio essay, βHow to Survive a Fire,β was recognized by the Missouri Review for the 12th annual Miller Audio Prize.
I was a finalist for Joylandβs Open Border Fiction Prize, a Top 25 finalist for Glimmer Trainβs Short Story Award for New Writers, + a grateful recipient of grants + fellowships from the Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council, the Kenyon Review Writers Workshop, + the Ragdale Foundation.
In a former life, I worked as a science textbook + media editor in New York City + San Francisco while also working as a cheesemonger + freelance everything. Most recently, I spent a year living + working on the road with my dog + cat.
Currently, I work as a content strategist + am seeking representation for my first novel. I am also obsessed with failure, so I write a newsletter about it.
