LISA, AI Leasing Assistant UX writing, research, & content design

During my four years of working on the LISA AI platform as a UX writer, I collaboratively created style guides and copy, amplifying user experiences and engagement through personalization and automation. I also collected, reported, and translated user segmentation data and feedback, resulting in user-centered design and copy for all user segments.

Additionally, I assisted in implementing A/B tests that increased conversion rates, while also collecting and reporting qualitative and quantitative data about day-to-day product functionality and usability to software engineers, designers, product managers, account managers, and analysts.

UX Writing

CHALLENGE

Prospects confused by lease terms. Operators spending extra time clarifying lease terms rather than booking tours.

SOLUTION

Clarify language and lease terms.

HOW I HELPED

  • Collaborated with the director of product to clarify rental options and lease terms

  • Edited existing copy for clarity and precision

  • Requested edit across the product for efficiency in replying across properties

Copy Example

Before — We have 3 bedrooms from $525+ available now. Prices vary by specific unit, move-in date, and lease term. Note that the price is per bed.

After — We have 3 bedrooms from $525+ available now. Prices vary by specific unit, move-in date, and lease term. Note that the price is per bedroom.

Impact — The change from "bed" to "bedroom“ is significant. It causes less confusion for the prospect who’s uncertain about whether they’re renting a bed in a shared bedroom or the entire bedroom within a shared apartment. Less confusion from the prospect means less time the operator has to spend researching property requirements to verify that the information they’re sharing with the prospect is indeed correct. Less researching and verification time for the operator equals more time they can spend helping more prospects.
